NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- DJ Stewart hit a walk-off single in the 10th inning, as the Norfolk Tides beat the Gwinnett Stripers 5-4 on Friday.

Luis Sardinas scored the game-winning run after he started the inning on second.

After the Stripers scored three runs in the top of the ninth, Norfolk tied the game 4-4 in the bottom of the inning when Ruben Tejada hit a two-run single.

Norfolk starter Asher Wojciechowski struck out eight while allowing one run and five hits over eight innings. Eddie Gamboa (1-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Rex Brothers (2-4) took the loss in the International League game.

Mike Yastrzemski doubled twice and singled, scoring two runs in the win. Garabez Rosa doubled and singled twice.

Xavier Avery doubled and singled twice, also stealing a base for the Stripers. Dustin Peterson homered and singled, scoring a pair of runs while also driving home a couple.
