PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) -- J.B. Shuck hit a run-scoring single in the fifth inning to give the Rochester Red Wings a 2-1 win over the Pawtucket Red Sox in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday.

Tommy Field scored on the play after he led off the inning with a single.

Trevor Hildenberger struck Ryan Court out with a runner on first to end the game for his fifth save of the season.

In the bottom of the second, Pawtucket grabbed the lead on a single by Rusney Castillo that scored Deven Marrero. Rochester answered in the next half-inning when Shuck scored on an error.

Rochester right-hander Tim Melville (1-0) picked up the win after allowing one run on just three hits over five innings. Opposing starter Edgar Olmos (3-2) took the tough loss in the International League game after giving up two runs and five hits over six innings.

Castillo singled twice, also stealing two bases for the Red Sox.

With the win, Rochester improved to 7-2 against Pawtucket this season.
