BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- Cameron Seitzer had two hits and two RBI as the Birmingham Barons defeated the Jackson Generals 7-2 on Sunday.

Down 1-0, the Barons tied the game in the first inning when Seitzer hit an RBI double, bringing home Eddy Alvarez.

The Barons took the lead for good in the second when Alvarez hit an RBI single, bringing home Trey Michalczewski.

Aaron Bummer (1-2) got the win with three innings of scoreless relief while Jackson starter Josh Taylor (4-5) took the loss in the Southern League game.

Despite the loss, Jackson is 7-3 against Birmingham this season.
