WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- Jecksson Flores had two hits and three RBI, and Jared Ruxer allowed just one hit over five innings as the Wilmington Blue Rocks defeated the Salem Red Sox 5-0 in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday.

Ruxer (4-1) picked up the win after he struck out six and walked one.

In the bottom of the second, Wilmington took the lead on a single by Flores that scored Wander Franco and Kort Peterson. The Blue Rocks then added a run in the fourth and two in the fifth. In the fourth, Peterson scored on a sacrifice, while Chris DeVito hit an RBI single in the fifth.

Matthew Kent (5-3) went four innings, allowing five runs and nine hits while striking out three in the Carolina League game.

The Red Sox were blanked for the fifth time this season, while the Blue Rocks' staff recorded their 10th shutout of the year.

The Blue Rocks swept both games of the doubleheader after winning the first game 3-1.
