RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Ketel Marte homered and doubled, scoring a pair of runs while also driving home a couple as the Reno Aces topped the Las Vegas 51s 7-3 on Sunday.

Carlos Rivero homered and singled twice for Reno.

Reno started the scoring in the first inning when Marte hit a two-run home run.

Trailing 5-1, the 51s cut into the deficit in the sixth inning when Jio Mier hit a two-run home run.

The Aces later tacked on two runs in the sixth when Rivero hit a solo home run and Christian Walker hit a sacrifice fly to secure the victory.

Reno starter Anthony Banda (6-4) picked up the win despite allowing three runs over 5 2/3 innings. Opposing starter Wilfredo Boscan (3-4) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game after giving up five runs and seven hits over five innings.

With the win, Reno improved to 4-2 against Las Vegas this season.
