PEORIA, Ill. (AP) -- Trace Loehr scored the decisive run on an error in the fifth inning, as the Beloit Snappers defeated the Peoria Chiefs 4-3 on Wednesday.

Loehr scored after he reached base on a strikeout and advanced to third on a single by Logan Farrar.

The error by Meggs scored Loehr to give the Snappers a 4-3 lead.

After Beloit scored three runs in the first inning, Peoria tied the game 3-3 behind two hits and two RBI from Scott Hurst.

Josh Reagan (1-3) got the win with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless, two-hit relief while Peoria starter Johan Oviedo (2-6) took the loss in the Midwest League game. Ivan Andueza pitched five scoreless innings for his first save of the season.

Elehuris Montero doubled and singled, driving in a run and also scoring one for the Chiefs.

Beloit improved to 7-3 against Peoria this season.
