BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) -- Resly Linares struck out nine hitters over six innings, leading the Bowling Green Hot Rods over the Peoria Chiefs in a 6-1 win on Saturday.
Linares (9-3) allowed four hits to pick up the win.
Bowling Green started the scoring with a big second inning, when it scored four runs, including a two-run triple by Carl Chester and an RBI single by Vidal Brujan.
Jake Dahlberg (5-4) went four innings, allowing four runs and six hits in the Midwest League game. He also struck out three and walked two. Simon Rosenblum-Larson gave up one run in three innings and recorded his fourth save of the season.
