Ryley Gilliam struck Alexis Torres out with runners on first and second to end the game for his first save of the season.

James allowed two runs while striking out two and walking one.

Down 1-0 in the third, Aberdeen took the lead when Doran Turchin and Robbie Thorburn scored on a passed ball.

The Cyclones took the lead for good with two runs in the ninth inning. Wagner Lagrange hit an RBI single en route to the one-run lead.

Adam Hill (1-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Diogenes Almengo (0-1) took the loss in the New York-Penn League game.

Despite the loss, Aberdeen is 4-2 against Brooklyn this season.
