GENEVA, Ill. (AP) -- Ben DeLuzio, Manny Jefferson, Fernery Ozuna and Jose Queliz recorded three hits each, as Kane County beat the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 6-2 on Sunday.
Jefferson singled three times.
Trailing 1-0 in the fifth, Wisconsin took the lead when Caleb Whalen scored on a ground out and Trey York hit an RBI single.
Kane County answered in the bottom of the frame, scoring four runs to take the lead for good. Ozuna hit a two-run triple en route to the three-run lead.
The Cougars tacked on another run in the sixth when Jefferson hit an RBI single, bringing home DeLuzio.
Starter Mack Lemieux (2-2) got the win while Parker Berberet (0-3) took the loss in relief in the Midwest League game. Emilio Vargas pitched four scoreless innings for his first save of the season.
Kane County improved to 8-1 against Wisconsin this season.
