DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) -- Cody Bohanek hit a two-run triple in the eighth inning, leading the Quad Cities River Bandits to a 5-4 win over the Clinton LumberKings on Wednesday.
The triple by Bohanek, part of a three-run inning, tied the game 4-4 before Colton Shaver hit a sacrifice fly later in the inning.
Shaver hit a sacrifice fly in the second inning and Shaver hit a solo home run in the fourth to give the River Bandits a 2-0 lead. The LumberKings came back to take a 4-2 lead in the eighth inning when Ariel Sandoval and Ryan Costello hit RBI singles.
Clinton went up 4-2 in the eighth when Costello hit an RBI single, bringing home Joseph Rosa.
Parker Mushinski (3-1) got the win in relief while Scott Boches (1-1) took the loss in the Midwest League game. Willy Collado retired the side in order for his second save of the season.
