JUPITER, Fla. (AP) -- Stone Garrett hit a two-run home run and had two hits, and Dakota Bennett tossed five scoreless innings as the GCL Marlins topped the GCL Nationals 6-4 on Sunday.

Cason Sherrod got Wilmer Perez to ground out with runners on first and third to end the game for his second save of the season.

Bennett (1-1) allowed one hit while striking out two and walking one to pick up the win.

GCL Marlins took the lead in the first when Garrett hit a two-run home run and Davis Bradshaw scored on an error.

Trailing 6-3, the GCL Nationals cut into the deficit in the ninth inning when Luis Aquino hit an RBI single, bringing home Jonathan Quintana.

Andrew Karp (0-1) went one inning, allowing three runs and three hits in the Gulf Coast League game. He also struck out one and walked one.

Anderson Franco singled three times, driving home two runs for the GCL Nationals.

GCL Marlins improved to 8-4 against GCL Nationals this season.
