GENEVA, Ill. (AP) -- Jose Caballero had three hits and two RBI, and Cole Bartlett allowed just five hits over six innings as the Kane County Cougars beat the Burlington Bees 3-2 on Sunday.

Bartlett struck out six and walked one while allowing two runs.

Burlington started the scoring in the second inning when Spencer Griffin scored on an error and Alvaro Rubalcaba hit an RBI single.

The Cougars took the lead for good with three runs in the seventh inning. Caballero hit a two-run single and then scored on a single by Yan Sanchez en route to the one-run lead.

Carlos Hernandez (1-0) got the win with two innings of scoreless relief while Anfernee Benitez (3-3) took the loss in the Midwest League game. Luis Castillo retired the side in order for his second save of the season.
