MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Randy Arozarena hit two home runs and drove in five runs, as the Memphis Redbirds defeated the Fresno Grizzlies 5-0 on Saturday.
Arozarena hit a three-run shot in the first inning off Cy Sneed and then hit a two-run homer in the eighth off Matt Ramsey.
Memphis starter Jake Woodford (6-5) picked up the win after allowing three hits over 7 1/3 scoreless innings. Opposing starter Sneed (10-8) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game after allowing three runs and seven hits over three innings. Giovanny Gallegos pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings for his second save of the season.
The Grizzlies were blanked for the seventh time this season, while the Redbirds' staff recorded their 12th shutout of the year.
