LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. (AP) -- Austin Allen hit a two-run homer in the second inning, leading the Lake Elsinore Storm to a 2-1 win over the Stockton Ports on Sunday.

The home run by Allen scored Josh Naylor to give the Storm a 2-0 lead.

Stockton answered in the top of the next frame when Eli White hit an RBI single, bringing home Josh Vidales to cut the deficit to one.

Lake Elsinore right-hander Cal Quantrill (4-5) picked up the win after allowing one run on five hits over five innings. Opposing starter Brendan Butler (1-1) took the tough loss in the California League game after giving up two runs and three hits over five innings. Jerry Keel pitched three scoreless innings for his first save of the season.
