KINGSPORT, Tenn. (AP) -- Ranfy Adon tripled and singled twice, scoring two runs as the Kingsport Mets topped the Greeneville Reds 5-1 on Friday.

Yoel Romero doubled and singled twice with two RBIs for Kingsport.

With the game tied 1-1, the Mets took the lead for good with two runs in the fifth inning. L.A. Woodard and Romero both drove in runs en route to the two-run lead.

The Mets later tacked on a run in both the sixth and seventh innings. In the sixth, Jarred Kelenic scored on a wild pitch, while Romero scored on a ground out in the seventh.

Starter Willy Taveras (1-0) got the win while Stephen Keller (0-1) took the loss in relief in the Appalachian League game. Eric Villanueva recorded his first save of the season.

With the win, Kingsport improved to 4-1 against Greeneville this season.
