PARKVILLE, Mo. (AP) — The Latest on four people who were shot to death in a Kansas City suburb Sunday night (all times local):

2:15 p.m.

Authorities say one of four adults found dead in a suburban Kansas City home killed the other three victims before killing himself.

Platte County Sheriff Mark Owen identified the shooter in Sunday's deaths outside Parkville as 50-year-old Douglas Pauling. Owen said investigators believe he killed his mother, 73-year-old Sharmalee Pauling; her husband, 66-year-old Carl Deruyscher; and 49-year-old Margaret Girard.

The Kansas City Star reports a 14-year-old girl escaped the shooting and called police. She was the daughter of Douglas Pauling and Girard.

Owen has not released any information on a possible motive for the shootings.

Two men and two women have been fatally shot in a suburban Kansas City home, authorities say.

The Platte County Sheriff's Office said the bodies were found late Sunday night in an upscale neighborhood just outside Parkville. Police won't say whether the shooter is among the dead, although investigators aren't looking for a suspect and no one is in custody, The Kansas City Star reports.

A dispatcher can be heard on captured police scanner communications saying that a teenager was reporting that her father had a gun, had fired at her and shot another relative. Investigators haven't said how the victims are related or released their names. The dispatcher said the 14-year-old girl indicated that the victims would be in the dining room.

The girl was able to get out of the house before a SWAT team made its way inside and found the victims. Capt. Jeffery Shanks, a spokesman for the sheriff's office, says she is being questioned but isn't considered a suspect.
