From "March of the Penguins" to "Glory," here are the best and worst Morgan Freeman movies.
In his 50-plus years in the film industry, Freeman has appeared in more than 100 films and TV shows. He's been nominated for five Oscars, winning the award for best supporting actor in 2005 for "Million Dollar Baby." And the veteran actor shows no signs of slowing down. His latest film "Going in Style" came out in April, and he has several other films in the works.
While Freeman's career has plenty of high points, there are inevitably some duds on his resume. PrettyFamous, an entertainment data site by Graphiq, ranked Freeman's films (no matter what size his role) from worst to best. Movies are ordered by their Smart Rating -- a score out of 100 that takes into account a movie's Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer and Audience Score, IMDb Rating, Metacritic Metascore, Gracenote rating and the inflation-adjusted U.S. box office gross. The PrettyFamous team did not consider any mini-series, TV series, TV movies or works where he has appeared as himself, and only included movies with at least 100 IMDb votes. However, films featuring Freeman's narration are included.
